The Finance Department of the City is administered by the Treasurer, who is the designated Chief Financial Officer of the City. The department is comprised of the Treasurer, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Taxation, and is located at City Hall, 609 Main Street, Mount Hope, WV.
Earlier this year, the Census Bureau announced that a nine county area of West Virginia has been selected to conduct the 2018 Census Test in preparation for the 2020 Census. The counties are Fayette, Greenbrier, McDowell, Mercer, Monroe, Pocahontas, Raleigh, Summers, and Wyoming.
